The Show’s location is ideal since it is just adjacent to Khan Khalili Bazaar and District, which groups often use on tours of the region who complete their day of sightseeing by attending the Show.

The Program consists of the following elements:

The event will be held in a historic building formerly famed for attracting merchants and their families to inhabit it.

The atmosphere will be lovely, with lights accentuating the performers and seats with panoramic views from every angle.

This troupe, known as Al Ghouri, consists of a mix of male dancers, musicians, and vocalists who are all trained in ancient Egyptian methods and instruments passed down through generations.
While visiting Wekalet El-Ghouri, in Islamic Cairo, you may see Sufi traditions of song and dance, as well as the costumes of whirling dervishes.

It is on a side street between Muezz Li Din Street and Al-Azhar Mosque.

While singers and musicians playing traditional instruments fill the air with mesmerizing tunes, the “Whirling dervishes’ whirl non-stop for up to 30 minutes straight in their vibrant multi-layered skirts, accompanied by traditional instruments.

Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis; there is no need to reserve in advance.

Make sure to come at least an hour before the scheduled start time of 8:30 p.m. since the venue is continuously filled. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays are the days that the company performs.
